This homemade taco seasoning recipe is a quick and easy way to add bold flavor to meals.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Note 1: This recipe makes enough seasoning for 1 lb. of meat (ground beef, turkey, shredded chicken, etc.). When ready to use, add seasoning to 1 pound of cooked meat (ground beef, ground turkey, shredded chicken, etc.) in a hot pan with 1/3 cup of water. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes and serve immediately.
