Smoked Salmon Breakfast Toast

Description

The smoked salmon, cream cheese, lemon and fresh dill are the perfect combination of flavors. Deliciously salty, tangy and fresh. Best of all, it only takes 5 minutes to make. ]

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. cream cheese
  • 2 tsp. fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 slice bread, toasted
  • 1 oz. smoked salmon*

Instructions

  1. Make Spread: In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, fresh dill, lemon juice and salt. 
  2. Assemble: Spread the cream cheese mixture on toasted bread. Top with smoked salmon, additional fresh dill (optional) and an extra squeeze of lemon juice (optional). Enjoy! 

Notes

*Smoked salmon and lox can be used interchangeably in this recipe. They can both be found at most grocery stores in the seafood section. It comes in a flat vacuum sealed package, pre-sliced and ready to eat.
