The smoked salmon, cream cheese, lemon and fresh dill are the perfect combination of flavors. Deliciously salty, tangy and fresh. Best of all, it only takes 5 minutes to make.
Ingredients
2Tbsp.cream cheese
2tsp.fresh dill, chopped
1/2tsp.lemon juice
pinchof salt
1slicebread, toasted
1oz.smoked salmon*
Instructions
Make Spread: In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, fresh dill, lemon juice and salt.
Assemble: Spread the cream cheese mixture on toasted bread. Top with smoked salmon, additional fresh dill (optional) and an extra squeeze of lemon juice (optional). Enjoy!
Notes
*Smoked salmon and lox can be used interchangeably in this recipe. They can both be found at most grocery stores in the seafood section. It comes in a flat vacuum sealed package, pre-sliced and ready to eat.
