Pin Recipe Print Recipe
This chocolatey protein smoothie tastes like a dream and only takes a few minutes to throw together. It is the perfect on-the-go breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup banana, sliced and frozen (see note 1)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, (see note 2)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1/2 - 1 cup almond milk, (see note 3)
  • mini chocolate chips, optional

Instructions

  • Prep Ingredients: Put all ingredients into a blender or bullet.
  • Blend Ingredients: Blend ingredients for 30-60 seconds or until smoothie is smooth and creamy.
  • Pour & Top: Pour up your smoothie and top with mini chocolate chips (optional).
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Note 1 - Banana: If you do not have frozen banana, use a fresh banana plus a cup of ice as a substitute.
Note 2 - Protein Powder: I personally use Collagen Protein Powder by Ancient Nutrition but any chocolate protein powder will work!
Note 3 - Milk: For thicker smoothies use 1/2 cup of milk. For thinner smoothies that can be sipped through a straw, use 1 cup of milk. Also, feel free to use whatever type of milk you prefer (cow's, almond, soy, etc.).
