Hidden Spinach Everything Sauce

In less than five minutes, this 4-ingredient recipe makes a delicious creamy sauce that can be used on everything. Best of all this sauce is packed with fresh spinach but you’d never know it!

Ways to Use It

The options are endless but here are a few ideas to get you started. Note: I recommend eating this sauce within 24 hours for the best and freshest flavor.

Dip: Red bell peppers + this sauce = AMAZING. I’ve also dipped carrots, tortilla chips, duck, shrimp, steak and chicken in this glorious sauce. All were delicious!

Spread: Spread this sauce on toast and top with tomatoes for a new version of avocado toast. This sauce is also awesome as a spread on sandwiches, wraps and burritos.

Sauce: Use this delicious green goodness as a sauce for noodles or drizzled over rice/burrito bowls.

What It Tastes Like

It is rich and creamy with a hint of tang. You can’t taste the spinach at all. In fact, when others tried this sauce, they guessed it was made with a bunch of herbs and were shocked to know how much spinach was actually in it.

Which Greek Yogurt to Use

I always recommend using full-fat plain Greek yogurt. The flavor and creaminess of full-fat Greek yogurt can’t be beat and it has a higher nutritional value than other fat-free options.

Which Kitchen Tools to Use

I use a mini food processor in this recipe. However, a standard sized food processor, bullet or blender will also get the job done. Even an immersion blender will work but in my experience can get messy if you aren’t careful!

Hidden Spinach Everything Sauce

Ingredients
 

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, lightly packed
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 Tbsp. plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in food processor or blender. Process/blend until well combined and the sauce is a creamy texture.
  • Serve immediately as a dip, spread, dressing or sauce!
